In this week’s spotlight we caught up with Raxit Jani, Director and Founder of 9series.
Why do you do what you do for a living?
I sent a few emails & met some interesting people for a living every day 🙂 but moreover embracing and understanding the journeys of different startups, innovation they’re bringing to market and excitement to help and take them to market, pumps me up every day. I’m leaning towards knowing more about startup ecosystems and innovating concepts in the space of AI & Machine Learning or any interesting ideas and investing technology into that.
Why did you start your company?
We started “9series”, because initially, our intention was to help our client in the travel & hospitality space. Eventually, we realized that, they’re many clients, partners and people who’re working towards betterment of society and they need help for a faster turnaround. At 9series, a service based innovation & technology company, we’ve joined hands to contribute towards common goals and that’s what our mission has become. Over the years, we’ve learnt more about different businesses, diversified culture & society and help businesses grow.
Currently, 9series is working on an interesting model for early stage businesses and we all call them “startups”. We understand their ideas and invest our technology and resources to make them successful. Our return will be their “Success.”
What is one of the greatest lessons you’ve learned?
One of the greatest lessons is the importance of resilience and perseverance. Being a founder or CEO often involves facing numerous challenges and setbacks. Building a business from the ground up, navigating through uncertainties, and dealing with the inevitable failures can be emotionally and mentally taxing. Successful leaders understand that setbacks are part of the journey and embrace failures as learning opportunities. They stay resilient in the face of adversity, adapt to changing circumstances, and keep moving forward with determination.
What is the one piece of advice you would share today with your younger self before you started your company?
Embrace failure as a stepping stone to success and keep learning from it. Don’t be afraid to take risks, as they are essential for growth and innovation. Stay resilient, be adaptable, and remember that setbacks are opportunities to refine your approach and make your vision even stronger.
What is something interesting and unexpected that people would be surprised to learn about you?
People will find great value in immersing themselves in my journey, embracing the challenges I encountered, and witnessing how I overcame each obstacle to assist diverse businesses in transforming visions into tangible realities.
